We are seeking Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners) for long-term locum tenens coverage in the hospitalist department. This is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals with acute care experience to provide care in an esteemed facility while maintaining flexibility.
- Provide inpatient care to unassigned patients.
- Manage 30-45 patients per shift in collaboration with the hospitalist team.
- Respond promptly to patients with a change in condition.
- Perform admissions and coordinate care using the Cerner EMR system.
- Deliver quality care in adherence to the hospital’s protocols and guidelines.
- Assignment Start Date: March , 2025
- Assignment End Date: June , 2025
- Holidays covered: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
- Facility is stroke-certified.
- Temporary privileges are not available.
Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
Active ACLS certification (other certifications such as ABLS, BLS, and PALS are not required).
Licensure to practice in Pennsylvania (no reimbursement for licensing costs).
Experience in acute care settings is mandatory; no procedures are required.
Board certification for the relevant specialty is preferred.
