Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide temporary coverage in a hospital setting. This role is starting at the end of March and running through mid-July. The provider will work collaboratively with a team to deliver exceptional care.

• Hospital Beds: 94
• ICU Beds: 9 (Open ICU)

Shift Details:

• Provider Coverage:
  • Day Providers: 3
  • Night Providers: 1
• APP Shift Times:
  • Day: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Average Census and Admissions:

• Average Day Census: 53
• Average Day Admits: 15
• Average Swing Admits: 6

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Code Management: Physicians are responsible for running codes.
• Rapid Response: Hospitalists respond as part of the Rapid Response Team.
• Procedures/Skills Required:
  • Vent Management
  • Intubation
  • Arterial Line Insertion
  • Central Line Insertion

Requirements:

• Current Hawaii APRN license
• Valid DEA registration
