We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • Active NP license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
  • Advanced training and experience in Acute Care.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • New NP graduates are encouraged to apply.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • This position is for a nocturnist shift within our hospital medicine team.
  • We offer flexible scheduling options, including splitting floor calls with another APP at night.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate high-quality, comprehensive medical and post-operative care in a 537-bed facility, including a closed ICU.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR systems and Sound’s internal informatics platform.
  • Provide initial healthcare interactions, medical care, education, and support to a patient population that often lacks access to routine medical care and health-related resources.
