Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible nurse practitioner.
- Hospitalist experience preferred; Hospitalist training required
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
- Shifts for the swing position are scheduled from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- As a swing clinician, your responsibility will encompass completing approximately nine admissions to the inpatient floors.
- Our hospital has a closed ICU managed by Sound’s intensivist team. Our team performs geographic rounding, and no procedures are required.
- Our hospitalist team plays a pivotal role in the rapid response team, and the intensivist team manages codes. All team members are certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. There are no procedural requirements.
- We hold weekly huddles and monthly team meetings, in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions, to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital and with Sound.
- We work in Meditech Expand, a web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform.
- We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.
