- You will practice at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado
- You will work 12-hour nocturnist shifts (preferred) or 24-hour Laborist shifts
- Coverage of Labor & Delivery (L&D) and ED GYN services
- Managing all group-related admissions and rounding
- Accept transfers from outside hospitals (approx. 175 per year)
- Handling OB ED triage – average 0-10 triage per 24hr shift
- Performing scheduled C-sections and occasionally scheduled suction D&Cs as needed
- Approximately 1,300 deliveries annually
- A backup OB/GYN always available for assistance
- Certified Nurse Midwives for low-risk deliveries and C-section assistance
- Family Practice residents (always on call)
- GYN Oncology specialists (available as needed)
- MFM sonographers available M-Fri, MFM on call by phone consult 24/7
- Working alongside a Level III NICU team
Compensation:
$2,075.00 per 12 hr. Shift
$4,150.00 per 24 hr. Shift
- Minimum of 2 Years experience, Required
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- ACGME accredited residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- ABMS board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
