Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of hospitalist physicians who work clinically and lead hospital medicine teams
  • Our team members live nationwide and travel to our hospital partner sites
  • We are a growing team of 25 acute care certified advanced practice providers.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible nurse practitioners.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hospitalist experience and are passionate about teamwork, integrity, and delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Our nurse practitioners are Certified in Acute Care.
  • Sound’s licensing team will assist in obtaining any necessary state licenses to work at our hospital partner locations, and we will cover the cost of these licenses.
Practice with your Heart

Flexible Scheduling:

  • Ambassadors work a seven-on, seven-off block schedule.
  • Our Ambassador NPs are flexible and can work various shifts, including days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practice in various hospital settings and are highly adaptable.
  • Welcome the challenge of complex cases.
  • Our team covers adult acute care patients in a traditional hospital medicine setting. We complete admissions from the emergency department, develop treatment plans, and perform history and physical examinations.
  • Our nurse practitioners have the opportunity to lead and develop new team models and mentor new team members.
  • Ambassadors participate in any team meetings and initiatives to drive high-quality care and bring better care to the bedside.

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Compensation: salary ranges from $185K to $221K depending on the work schedule (days/swings/nights).
