Wonderful NP/PA Nocturnist Opportunity in Frederick, MD.
Position Highlights:
- 18 bed observation unit
- Responsible for admissions from the ED to the Obs unit, 4 hour touch bases with nursing and case management, and discharges (yes discharges happen overnight)
- All labs, testing, etc… are stat so they can discharge/move the patient within 24 to 36 hours out of the unit
- Hours: 7pm to 7am
- Schedule: 5 nights on/5 nights off
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- Codes: Run by CC team, but attend if it is in the Observation Unit
- Full Subspecialty support
- Hospitalist team and 2 Nocturnists at night for the APP to confer with
- Acute Care Hospitalist experienced required
- Compensation is $140k/year plus incentives
