- Start: 1/1/25
- Minimum shift requirements- 7 on 7 off for a duration of 6 months+
- Shift start/end times- 7a-7p. On W/F/Sun APP stays in hospital until 7p
- Other days APP can cover patients remotely once work is complete, in some cases, APP may need to come back to the hospital
- Setting: Critical access community hospital
- Duties: Day admitter/rounding- admits, discharge, interfacility transfers, and MDRs
- FTE:
- Required Procedures: Staff providers run stress tests. Obtaining privilege optional.
- EMR: Epic and Cerner
- Support Staff: admin support, on site pharmacy, social work
- Reason for Coverage: Staffing vacancy
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience with some critical care/emergency medicine background – Preferred
- We take turns for late calls. Wed/Fri/Sun would be the late calls for App. Late call means you physically stay in the hospital until 7pm
- Most of the admissions can be handled by APP but often times discussion with physician working on that day might be necessary. Also, physician may contact ER provider directly after discussion with APP
- ER docs run codes. If the patient is our patient, the provider for that patient goes also
- Board Certification – Required
- State License – WA or IMLC in hand (must be uploaded)
- Residency Requirements/Fellowship – not required but preferred
- ACLS, BLS, DEA - Required
