SMART is actively recruiting Locum Tenens NP/PA clinicians for a locums need in North Carolina to provide coverage for our client immediately. Coverage is needed as soon as you are credentialed and ongoing.

Qualifications:

• License requirements: North Carolina
• Certification requirements: PA’s must be NCCPA & NP’s must have ANCC or AANP
• Any additional requirements specific to job: To request sedation there must be evidence (20 patient encounters) in the last 2 years. Must have ACLS & PALS and must be sponsored by the American Heart Association. There is also a sedation attestation and quiz.

Job Summary:

• Shift times: 3 day shifts 7a-7p, 1 night 7p-7a; like 7 on 7of
  
• Patient Volume: 64K per year
• Additional details: closed ICU; ICU responds to code
• Additional Details: Patient Rounding 14-15 rounding, 8 if admitting
• EMR: Cerner
