Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of hospitalists at Franciscan St James Health Olympia Fields Campus
• Our 26 FTE hospitalist team consists of a medical director, associate medical director, program manager, clinical performance nurses, physician hospitalists, and APPs.
• Hospitals serve patients within our 214-bed facility, and while a sizable portion of our patients are geriatric, we see a wide variety of diagnoses in adults of all ages.

Qualifications:

• NP certification is required.
• We seek an Experienced Hospitalist NP to work within our observation unit rounding and discharging patients.
• Six months of hospitalist nurse practitioner experience is required.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Schedule:

• 7 on 7 off, 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Round and discharge patients within this short-stay Observation unit within the hospital.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner. Communicate with all stakeholders effectively and efficiently.
