Local Team Collaboration:
- We’re a welcoming, resilient team of 18 physicians and four APPs, who work closely with other hospital staff and departments to bring the best possible quality of care to our patients.

Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible nurse practitioner.
- Hospitalist experience is preferred; hospitalist training is required.
Practice in the Hearth of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- Flexible scheduling options are available for this role.
- Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
- Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding on approximately twelve patients per shift, discharging when appropriate, an occasional admission and participating in multidisciplinary rounds.
- The hospital has a co-managed ICU with intensivist support; however, as an NP you will not be required to see patients in the ICU.
- Our team performs geographic rounding, and no procedures are required.
- Our hospitalist team is part of the rapid response and code team — we’re all certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. The intensivists will provide support.
- Our team meets monthly to keep everyone abreast of what is going on in the field of medicine, at the hospital, and with Sound Physicians.
- We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.
- We use EPIC EMR and have access to our own internal informatics platform.
