Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • Our daytime team works seven on/off, and our nocturnist APPs have a more flexible schedule. Ideally, we are looking for an average of 15 monthly shifts but are also open to part-time employment.
  • We like to spend time with our families outdoors or explore hobbies such as boating or flying, so we have flexible schedules and cover for each other when we’re out. We appreciate the work/life balance our specialty affords us and do what we can to protect that.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex cases in an open ICU setting with intensivist in-house consultation available, focusing on acute patient care and procedures (though procedures are not required).
  • Participate in hospitalist shifts, with APPs independently managing patients and admissions during the night shift under the supervision of a remote physician.
  • Engage in hospital growth initiatives, with opportunities to contribute to committees and medical staff efforts to shape the hospital’s future.
  • Collaborate in quarterly team meetings, fostering continuous improvement and communication among team members.
