Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Palliative Care team. This position offers flexible scheduling with the opportunity to work either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct 6-8 patient visits per day, following industry standards for Palliative Care.

Provide consultative services within the hospital, addressing new referrals and follow-up visits daily.

Collaborate with patients and their families to discuss goals of care, ensuring their needs and wishes are understood and respected.

Manage pain and other distressing symptoms to improve patient comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications:

Active Missouri Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License

Experience in palliative care, hospice, or related fields preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and their families through complex healthcare decisions.
