Job Title: Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner - Dothan, AL. ( $15,000 Relocation and sign-on)
Job Summary:
This facility is actively seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to enhance our interdisciplinary palliative care program. This position is supported by Hospitalist physicians and Nurse Practitioners as well as a team of experienced case managers and a Spiritual Care Director. Ideal candidates will possess or be willing to obtain an ACHPN certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday to Friday
Facility: Inpatient.

Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver direct and indirect patient care for palliative care inpatients through comprehensive assessments and aggressive symptom and medication management
· Provide inpatient consultations in critical care, oncology, neurology, cardiology, and general medical and surgical units
· Collaborate with referring providers to coordinate a plan of care
· Conduct goals of care discussions with patients and families to align treatment choices with their wishes
· No outpatient responsibilities
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
AL licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
Active DEA certification.
APRN with full licensure and a prescriptive authorization.
Board Certified/ Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner
