Job Description
Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Classical Hematology Team caring for patients with a diverse range of benign hematological disorders including anemias, hemorrhagic and thrombotic microangiopathies, iron metabolic disorders, and platelet and white blood cell disorders. In this role, you will see patients in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, covering both Providence St. Vincent and Providence Portland campuses. You will engage in independent decision making about patient’s needs and provide healthcare services to adults. Responsibilities include providing inpatient consult services and leading condition-focused clinic providing patient education and counseling, follow-up care, and collaboration with hematologist to evaluate and provide recommendations on management of patients. - Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities, full-time at 1.0 FTE
- Four/10-hour days, weekday schedule
- Ideal candidates will be experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with prior primary care experience preferred though not required; open to new graduates
