Perm - Hematology/Oncology - NP / PA

Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Oncology/Hematology

We are seeking a full-time Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the dedicated team at our state-of-the-art Armes Family Cancer Care Center in Findlay, Ohio. Job Responsibilities:

• Full-time schedule, Monday-Friday, with 3-5 days per week and no weekends or holidays.
• Occasional call based on practice needs.
• Manage daily clinic schedule and assist with acute needs in the infusion clinic.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for Hematology/Oncology patients.
• Primarily outpatient, with the ability to do inpatient rounding if experienced.
• See 10-15 clinic patients per day.
• Clinical documentation skills required; experience in Cerner preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and see new patients.
• Maintain a special interest in Hematology/Oncology and a commitment to continuous education.
• Possess 2+ years of ambulatory practice or acute care NP/PA work experience (not including RN or training experience).
• Permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP/ANCC) or Physician Assistant - REQUIRED
• Ohio license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and license - REQUIRED
• 2+ years of ambulatory practice or acute care NP/PA work experience - REQUIRED
• Hematology/Medical Oncology NP/PA work experience preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in Hematology/Oncology and commitment to continuing education - REQUIRED.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification is required.
• Valid Ohio license (or willing to obtain) is required.
• Clean malpractice record is mandatory.
