Perm - Hematology/Oncology - NP / PA

Job Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Oncology/Hematology

The facility boasts a 186-bed acute care community hospital, well accredited and serving a vibrant community of approximately 98,000 residents. Job Responsibilities:

• Manage 15-20 outpatient visits and 3-5 hospital patients per day.
• Maintain a full-time negotiable schedule with on-call duties of 10 days/month.
• Provide care primarily to an adult and geriatric population (50% each).
• Focus on 25% Hematology and 75% Oncology cases.
• Collaborate with 2 physicians in a supportive practice setting.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation.
• Embrace a role in providing care in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1+ year clinical experience as NP/PA in a Hematology/Oncology-specific clinic or hospital setting.
• Board Certified NP/PA required.
• Skills in the management of VAD/CV Catheters, FNA/Biopsy, and Chemotherapy procedures.
• Engagement in tumor board participation and ordering tests and images.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care in a community-oriented facility.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Ohio NP/PA license (or willing to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain).
• Required procedures experience and involvement in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
