Responsibilities

  • Performing assessments and providing follow up care
  • Ordering diagnostic tests and prescribing chemotherapy and iron infusion therapy
  • Conducting cancer surveillance
  • Providing patient education and interacting with families
  • Responding to survivorship issues and needs
  • Providing palliative care and assist with advanced planning
  • Ensuring continuity of care across settings and levels of care

A multidisciplinary center committed to delivering quality care, combining state-of-the-art cancer treatment with comprehensive and compassionate diagnostic, treatment, and support services in one location. Our trained nursing staff provides patient-centered care that is comprehensive to individual needs. Our advanced oncology-certified nurse practitioner supervises chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy treatments. Throughout the day, she sees and treats patients and provides support and symptom management while working closely with our medical oncologists and radiation oncologists to provide evidence-based, coordinated, compassionate oncology care.
