An integrated healthcare network has an opening for a geriatric nurse practitioner to provide primary care in a long-term care facility. This position is located less than an hour West of Tacoma and 20 miles from Olympia, Washington.

Job Details:

• Four-day work week (full-time position)
• Flexible weekday schedule: choose the days of the week you wish to work (Monday through Friday)
• Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, implement plan of care, order and interpret lab results, prescribe and monitor medications, etc.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Washington Nurse Practitioner license or application in process
• Active and unrestricted DEA or application in process
