Health System in NW Ohio is looking for an experienced NP with a passion for palliative care, hospice and the geriatric population. Join a community nonprofit who values you!

Job Description:

  • Three years or more of work experience as NP in an acute care setting or with Palliative Care and Hospice is required
  • Must have passion for palliative care, hospice and the geriatric population
  • Must live in close proximity to Lima, OH (relocation may be required)
  • Practice autonomously and provide symptom management of really sick patients
  • Symptom management, chronic disease management, goals of care, advanced care planning
  • 100% inpatient, round on inpatient hospice patients M-F
  • 6 patients/day, 5 day workweek, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, rotating on-call
  • Hospitalists admit, Open ICU
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
  • Not accepting new graduate candidates - experience required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary plus w/RVU -- competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview). Provider may submit salary expectations with presentation.
  • 200 hours of vacation/CME, 6 days paid holidays, birthday pay, sick leave accrual up to 600 hours

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
-Board Certified NP - REQUIRED
-Geriatric Certification (or willing to obtain within 1 year) - REQUIRED
-OH license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
-Three years or more of work experience as NP in an acute care setting or with Palliative Care and Hospice - REQUIRED

Working Hours

5 day workweek, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, rotating on-call
