Your Role as a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments - diagnose, treat, and develop personalized care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests - includes lab work, imaging, and GI-specific procedures.
• Educate patients & families - provide treatment guidance, preventative care strategies, and disease management education.
• Prescribe medications & propose treatments - manage both acute and chronic gastroenterology conditions.
• Perform minor GI procedures - based on experience and physician guidance.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records - ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license - required.
• Master’s degree - required.
• Clinical experience in gastroenterology, primary care, internal medicine, or emergency medicine - preferred.
