We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position at a Multi-specialty Clinic in California. This 60-day assignment begins immediately with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with routine primary care work and be able to manage a diverse patient population, including 75% Spanish-speaking patients (translators and Spanish-speaking MAs available). The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a locum tenens provider, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive family medicine services, collaborating with the clinic staff, and utilizing Epic EMR for patient documentation.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population
- Perform routine health assessments, diagnoses, and treatments
- Manage chronic conditions and provide preventive care
- Collaborate with multi-specialty team members as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EMR
- Adhere to all clinic protocols and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Work with translators and Spanish-speaking MAs to ensure effective communication with patients
- Complete and sign the provided privileging form detailing full core privileges
Additional Information:
- Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of California
- Proficiency in Epic EMR is required
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including Spanish-speaking patients, is preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new work environments and team dynamics
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a clinic setting with a high percentage of Medical/Medicaid patients
