Your Role With Us:
Salem Health is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner Aesthetic Injector to join our Salem Health team. As a Nurse Practitioner with Salem, you will work in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers and other members of the health care team to directly manage the care of patients
General Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and consultations to understand aesthetic goals and medical history
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Ensure a high level of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care
- Stay current on industry trends, new techniques, and safety protocols
- Adhere to legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines specific to cosmetic medical practices
Background/Expertise
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as an Aesthetic Injector.
- One (1) year of Plastic Surgery/Aesthetic experience with lasers/injectables.
- Experience with full facial assessment and treatment planning.
- Experience with skin care and skin assessments.
Licenses/ Certification/ Registration:
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or an equivalent Medicare/Medicaid approved certifying body, or be actively seeking certification and obtain the same in the specialty area requested within two (2) years of privileges being granted at Salem Health/Salem Health West Valley
- Basic Life Support
Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Knowledge of Lean methodology preferred
