Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Primary Care) role is a critical one in our healthcare team. The role involves providing primary healthcare services to our patients. As a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant, you would collaborate with physicians, as well as other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care. This role demands keen medical knowledge, clinical procedures competence, and superb interpersonal skills to foster a good relationship with patients and the rest of the hospital staff.

Duties:

- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations.

- Utilize clinical expertise in managing acute and chronic illnesses.

- Order, conduct, interpret, and communicate results of necessary diagnostic tests.

- Build and maintain patient relationships while promoting positive health behaviors.

- Document patient care services in electronic health records.

- Prescribe medication and/or therapeutic interventions.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of the medical team to formulate best care practices.

- Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion and lifestyle modification.

- Provide professional guidance to nursing and medical staff.

- Participate in continuing education activities to maintain and increase competence.

Other Requirements:

  • AZ NP or PA License
  • Graduated from Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program in the USA (excluding Puerto Rico)
