A reputable private practice in Manhattan is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team. In this role, the NP will be responsible for providing primary medical care to infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday. Only 6 Saturdays per year.
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm
  • Patient Volume: 18 to 25 patients per day

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner will:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic examinations / data to determine nature and extent of pediatric patient's medical condition / injury
  • Collect, record, and maintain details of the patient's information such as clinical history, reports, and test outcomes
  • Administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other particularized medical care to treat or preclude illnesses, disorders, or injuries in infants and teens
  • Counsel and guide patients and their parents or guardians regarding diet, essential activities for treating complications, hygiene, and disease preclusion
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice as an NP in the New York
  • Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or ANP/AGNP)
  • Medical Spanish required

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
