We are seeking an experienced Locums Nurse Practitioner to join a primary care practice that serves patients of all ages in a value-based care setting. This role offers a flexible schedule and requires autonomous practice in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Value-driven system, providing a seamless, patient-centric experience that maximizes quality and accessibility. Our approach aligns the interests of patients, providers, and payors to ensure affordable, high-quality care across Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA Marketplace populations.

Position Details:


  • Schedule: Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays
  • Patient Load: Average of 15 patients per day
  • Setting: Value-based primary care for all ages
  • Flexibility: Rotating evenings and weekends may be required

Responsibilities:


  • Deliver comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Provide patient education and promote wellness initiatives
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Refer patients to specialists as needed and manage follow-ups
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and professional regulations

Requirements:


  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Nurse (RN) licenses in Texas
  • Minimum 2 years of primary care experience (must be able to practice autonomously)
  • National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred)
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish (preferred)
  • Proficiency in EHR systems, medical databases, and e-prescribing software
