Job Description
Seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a permanent position in Mayfield, KY (Benton, KY may be considered). This is an urgent care setting with a collaborative team.
๐น Schedule: Two-week rotating cycle (mix of 12-, 10-, and 4-hour shifts, including some weekends)
๐น Pay: $47.25 โ $57/hr (up to $60/hr for seasoned NPs) + potential quarterly bonuses
๐น Patient Load: 40-50 patients/day, all ages
๐น Experience: 1+ years preferred, will consider new grads (reduced training pay applies)
๐น EMR: Xperity (user-friendly, all charting done in-office)

Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections.
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care.
- Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with medical support staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and X-ray techs.
- Utilize Xperity EMR to document patient encounters efficiently.
- Educate patients on preventive care, treatment plans, and health management.
- Ensure timely and compassionate patient care while maintaining a fast-paced workflow.
- Adhere to clinic policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
โข Current FNP license in Kentucky
โข Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications
โข Experience in a healthcare setting
โข Multidisciplinary teamwork experience
Working Hours
Week 2 = (2) 12hr shifts, rotating days, M-F + Sat (1) 10hr shift + Sun (1) 4hr shift
Skills
- Proficiency in urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care, etc.)
- Ability to manage a high-volume patient load (40-50/day)
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Xperity
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Strong collaboration with healthcare team members
