    Provider’s own office locations- Provider must have their own office

    4. Saginaw- 2 days per week needed
    5. Marquette- 1 half day per week needed
    6. Wakefield- 1.5 days per week needed
    7. Sturgis- 4 days per week needed
    8. Lansing- 4 days per week needed
    9. Norway- 2 days per week needed
    10. Rogers City- 4 days per week needed
    11. Alpena- 4 days per week needed
    12. Sault S Marie- 4 days per week needed
    13. West Branch- 2 days per week needed
    14. Manistique- 1 day per week needed
    15. Ludington- 1 day per week needed
    16. Gaylord- 2 days per week needed
    17. Bad Axe- 1 day per week needed
    18. Presque Isle- 1 day per week needed

PRN as needed.

1099 compensation:
-$350 for half day (4 hours)
-$800 for full day (8 hours)
-$650 for completing all required training and starting assignment

Willing to accept these specialties:

  • Family medicine
  • Internal medicine
  • Orthopedic surgery
  • Anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.

Details:

  • Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing
  • Willing to accept these specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc, or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.
  • Two (2) options for coverage - Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice
  • Option to work ½ days(4-hours) and/or full days(8-hours)
  • One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
  • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing.
  • No prescribing, no treatment
  • Quick credentialing & onboarding
  • DMA certification available (can get CME credits) – will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
  • Use of Goniometer required
  • Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required
  • Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
  • Own personal laptop (NO MACs)

The provider will need to complete their DMA training.

Qualifications

Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
Must be willing to perform Gen Med & TBI
Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
Must be willing to wear a mask during all visits
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 0-3 years of residency
Active and unrestricted full license
Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified
CV needs current home address listed for presentation
Will need a copy of ECFMG certificate if they attended school in a different country.
