Job Summary:
In this role, you’ll assess, create, and oversee treatment plans for residents in senior living communities and those receiving in-home wound care. As a wound care provider, you’ll diagnose and treat various types of wounds, perform lab tests, make referrals, and carry out bedside procedures based on your expertise and available tools. You’ll also collaborate with internal and external healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients in both home and facility settings.

You’ll also collaborate with internal and external healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients in both home and facility settings.
Job Responsibilities
Perform wound debridement at the patient’s location using various methods.
Manage topical wound care and related products.
Recommend services, such as tests and referrals, to support healing.
Review diagnostic results and recommend follow-up care.
Prescribe medications, DME, or supplies in accordance with the supervising physician’s guidelines.
Assess Diabetic Foot Ulcer risk according to ADA guidelines.
Educate patients on wound care and communicate with referring physicians.
Collaborate with staff to address resident needs.
Conduct quarterly skin assessments.
Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Florida license
Must be enrolled as a provider with Medicaid and Medicare in Florida
