HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at our Clinton County Rural Health Clinic in Breese, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights Well established, growing practice with great community and hospital support 100% Outpatient Practice Monday-Friday weekly schedule with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week Minimal call through group shared call No holidays Weekend rotation in walk-in clinic during the winter months and as needed Dedicated support staff provided EPIC EMR Position Requirements Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start Board Certified - if an APRN, must be FNP trained in order to see all ages. 2+ years of prior practice experience is required. Experience in primary care in preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered. Compensation & Benefits Package Base salary with bonus earning potential PTO accrual CME Reimbursement Sign-on bonus available


Education Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
  • Federal DEA license is preferred.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
