We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical group full-time in Asheboro, NC. Looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are a well-established group, with close to twenty providers with over 100 years of combined experience! We excel in providing quality care to all our patients and are trend setters in the field with our multi-modality treatment options and our varied care delivery models. Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is compassionate and personable, can communicate effectively with patients and other medical staff, exceptional active listening skills, strong leadership skills, self-confidence, and has excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Duties:
- Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations
- Review patient’s medical diagnosis, prognosis, medications, procedures, and clinical course
- Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients
- Performs patient exams/consultations.
- Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests
- Interprets laboratory and test results
- Diagnosis and treatment/care plan formulation
- Confers with physicians, nursing staff, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care
- Provides health education and counseling
- Graduate degree from an accredited nursing school, such as a Master of Science in nursing or Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program
- Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner license in NC
- 2-4 years of clinical work experience
- Must be willing to work independently and be responsible for your own caseload
Schedule:
- Monday- Friday
- No Weekends
Salary (range):
- $120k-$150k (Depending on experience)
