Role Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join their dynamic healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will manage acute and chronic illnesses, deliver preventive health services, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams, for new and established patients across all age groups.

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions within the scope of practice.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging to inform patient care plans.

  • Prescribe medications, medical equipment, and treatment regimens as appropriate.

  • Perform clinical procedures, including but not limited to contraceptive implants, IUD insertions, suturing, skin biopsies, and joint injections.

  • Collaborate regularly with supervising physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and families, focusing on prevention and wellness.

  • Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately in electronic health records.

  • Proactively manage patient communications via electronic health systems and phone consultations.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and the development of clinical guidelines.

  • Train and mentor medical assistants and other support staff as needed.

  • Support multiple clinic locations, as required, to meet organizational needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing.

  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).

  • Active and unrestricted RN and NP licenses.

  • Prescriptive authority and DEA licensure in good standing.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in primary or urgent care environments.

  • Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred).

  • Proficiency in performing advanced clinical procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare setting
