Family Nurse Practitioner Job Summary:
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) provides high-quality care to patients of all ages, following established clinical protocols under the supervision of licensed physicians. The FNP diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions initiates and modifies treatment plans, and educates patients and families. This role requires strong clinical judgment and collaboration with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Salary:

• $156,000-$206,315/annually

Family Nurse Practitioner Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments and physical exams, diagnose conditions, and manage treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests in accordance with protocols.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Document patient interactions and care plans in the EHR.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain professional development.

Family Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current California RN/NP license.
• National certification (ANCC, AANP, PNCB, NCC, or AACN).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (if inpatient setting privileges are required).
