SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- 40 Hours per Week
- No On-Call
- No Nights
- No Weekends
- No Holidays


COMPENSATION:
- $130,000 to $150,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
Having opened its first office more than 20 years ago, this organization is now the largest physician-led outpatient medical practice in the greater NYC metro area. In addition to robust primary care offerings, they also operate specialty service lines in cardiology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, allergy and immunology, dermatology, and more. Their large staff of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are supported by dedicated team members, utilizing resources such as on-site laboratory services.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Nurse Practitioner provides medical services in collaboration with internal medicine physicians.

The role is full-scope adult primary care including, but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- obtain and document patient histories as appropriate to chief complaint / reason for visit
- conduct relevant physical exams and evaluate patients
- document pertinent positive and negative findings
- diagnose and treat diseases
- manage chronic illnesses
- prescribe medication in accordance with state and federal law
- order appropriate laboratory, radiological, and special examinations or tests
- interpret examination and test results
- provide preventative health services, including education and counseling
- collaborate with other clinicians and staff to ensure continuity of care for patients
- attend staff educational programs and meetings

A variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon types of appointments scheduled.

All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants.

The practice utilizes the Epic EHR.

This position has no weekends, no evenings, and no on-call.


REQUIREMENTS:
- New York NP license
- DEA
- 1+ year advanced practice experience
