Position:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing primary care team in Mesquite, Nevada. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) to provide essential care in a welcoming and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Medicare Advantage patients, and working in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.

Position Overview:

• Patient Load: Manage 10 to 15 Medicare Advantage patients per day
• Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• EMR: Athena
• Compensation: Competitive salary rates between $125,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience
• Stare Date: Ready to hire and interview ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to Medicare Advantage patients
• Perform assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in Athena EMR system
• Educate and support patients in managing chronic conditions and health maintenance

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Nevada (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) certification
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience managing Medicare Advantage patients preferred
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems (Athena Health preferred but not required)
