Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens Family Practice Nurse Practitioner position in a multi-specialty clinic. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to family care in various clinic settings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive family practice care across multiple clinic locations
• Demonstrate flexibility in floating between different clinic sites as needed
• Manage a diverse patient population, including approximately 75% Spanish-speaking patients (translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants available)
• Conduct patient examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR system
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, including specific privileging requirements
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a diverse patient population, flexible in work locations, and proficient in using Epic EMR. Familiarity with the specific privileging requirements of the facility is essential.
