Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Sacramento CA
We are looking for a compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient pediatric practice in the Sacramento, CA area. We are looking for a pediatric-trained PA or NP or FNP Nurse Practitioner to join us, providing high quality care. We are seeking a compassionate provider who is calm, focused, and caring, and familiar with a wide range of pediatric heath issues. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be providing care to newborns through patients 18 years of age. We have 3 locations, Sacramento, Elk Grove, and Carmichael, and the NP could work in any of those locations or can split their time between the offices.

Duties:
  • Pediatric Patient Care Management from newborn to age 18
  • Well Check/ Patient exams and evaluations
  • Acute Care/sick visits
  • Newborn visits and Adolescent Care visits
  • Medication refills
  • Procedures (foreign body removal, removal of stitches and staples, Chemical cautery of umbilical cord granuloma, Chemical cautery of small warts, Nebulizer breathing treatment, Ear wax removal)
  • Referrals when necessary
  • Order and review labs/bloodwork/diagnostic imaging
  • Management of chronic illnesses
  • Telephone triage
  • Immunizations
  • Documentation/paperwork/forms
Requirements:
  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant
  • License to practice in CA
  • Pediatric outpatient clinical experience 1 yr minimum preferred but will consider recent grads
  • Proficient in electronic medical records
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Schedule:
  • Full time
Salary:
  • $125k after probationary period for recent grads, providers with pediatric outpatient clinical experience start at $125k plus bonus compensation
