Job Description
Our Lexington Internal Medicine Clinic is a well-established and high functioning clinic, focusing on intentional patient care. Providers will have 36 hours of direct patient care per week, all within an outpatient setting in our Harrodsburg Road clinic across the street from Saint Joseph Hospital, allowing for easy access to further testing if needed.
The providers in this clinic care for patients with a full range of health and wellness services:
- Annual wellness exams and sports physicals
- Care for all acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Care for chronic illnesses like asthma, diabetes and hypertension
- Diagnostic services, including lab work, vision and hearing testing, blood pressure monitoring and more
- Preventive care, including personalized consultations and health screenings
- Well-child exams, including immunizations for newborns to adolescents
- Seasonal support for allergies and the flu
- Mental health resources and support

Responsibilities
- Understand, support, and implement the mission of the facility to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities.
- Ensure that patient care meets or exceeds the facility quality standards.
- Ensure that patient satisfaction meets or exceeds standards set by the facility.
- Educate patients on both clinical and managed care.
- Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested and appropriate.
- Function as an effective clinic team member.
- Meet productivity standards.
- Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information.
Qualifications
Education:
Board Certified - or eligible.
License/Certification:
Kentucky Licensure.
Pay Range
$40.56 - $65.00 /hour
