HSHS St. Anthony's Hospital is recruiting a Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for our Level 2 Nursery team Effingham, IL. HSHS St. Anthony's Hospital works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Position Details: - 87, 24-hour shifts per year - All shifts are spent in house at the hospital. - Self-scheduling is completed monthly with the NNP team - Rotating requirement of weekends and holidays - NNP on shift will cover the level 2 nursery and attend all high risk deliveries Compensation & Benefits Package: - Sign-on bonus available - Base guarantee salary - CME reimbursement per fiscal year Position Requirements: - Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start - Board Certified - 2+ years of prior practicing experience is strongly preferred, but not required.


Education Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
  • Federal DEA license is preferred.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
