Providence Medical Forensic Program is seeking an on-call Nurse Practitioner to join its new Providence SAFE Center clinic to in Portland, Oregon. The first of its kind in Oregon, the Providence SAFE Center clinic will provide comprehensive, trauma-informed care to individuals who have experienced sexual, physical, and/or psychological violence. The Nurse Practitioner in this role will perform physical examinations, collect evidence, administer medications, and provide counseling and/or referrals to appropriate resources. The Providence SAFE Center is a unique outpatient medical forensic clinic working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes forensic nurses and nurse practitioners as well as law enforcement and prosecutors.   • On-Call, 10-hours shifts
  • Clinic schedule: 7 days per week; 7:00am to 12:00am
  • Minimum of 2-years’ clinical experience as Nurse Practitioner in an acute and/or ambulatory care setting required; previous experience as Forensic Nurse strongly preferred, though willing to train
  • Required licensure Oregon State Board of Nursing APRN; Board-certified in Family Medicine; Oregon DEA
  • Malpractice liability insurance provided by Providence
