Family Nurse Practitioner - Infusion Therapy
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- 40 Hours per Week
- Some Flexibility on Daily Hours
- No Nights
- No Weekends
- No On-Call
COMPENSATION:
- $75 to $85 per Hour
- Annual Performance Bonus

For nearly a decade, this privately-owned organization has been providing compassionate, quality infusion services to patients in a comfortable, convenient environment. They are driven by nurse practitioners, with NPs and RNs leading the patient care teams. They currently employ a team of 25 talented providers, who are supported by clinical and administrative team members in 20+ locations across 6 states.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) will serve as the clinical leader of the office, supported by a registered nurse (RN) and a medical assistant (MA).
The FNP reports to an off-site Medical Director and Nursing Director.
The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- educate patients about the risks, side effects, and benefits of medications
- supervise and administer IV infusion and injections
- assist in the preparation of biologics
- discuss care plans with ordering providers
- communicate with referring providers regarding criteria for medications
- review orders and verify records / tests
- review labs, reports, and medications
- serve as the day-to-day clinical leader
- provide direction to office staff
The office sees an average of 10 to 15 patients per day.
The practice provides infusions for a variety of conditions, seeing both adult and pediatric patients. Their therapies include:
- biologics
- biosimilars
- enzyme replacement therapy
- alpha-1
- immunoglobulins
The practice uses the InfuseFlow EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- California NP license
- FNP certification
- proficiency in starting IVs
- new grads with 5+ years RN experience are welcome to apply
