Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

A Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is needed in East Providence, RI.

The area is predominantly residential with elegant waterfront property, numerous apartment complexes, and recreational amenities, including the East Bay Bike Path, Turner Reservoir Walking Trail, and Looff Carousel.

This position is with a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides primary, behavioral, and dental healthcare to the residents of Rhode Island.

Salary and Benefits:

• The salary range is $105,000 - $115,000 based on experience
• Language Differential – 5% Additional Salary

Responsibilities:

• Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• 32 Hours Clinical / 8 Hours Administrative
• Primary Care in an Outpatient Facility
• Provide direct medical services, including but not limited to a clinical focus on health promotion, disease prevention and routine health maintenance visits and acute care for all age groups.
• Provide all aspects of patient care including diagnosis, treatment, referral, and consultation.
• Work closely with doctors, other nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, and support staff to provide high quality care through a multi-disciplinary team approach.
• May mentor NP interns as time allows.
• Appointments are 20-30 minutes each.

Requirements:

• Current And Active License in Rhode Island Required
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Required
• 2 Years of Primary Care or Related Experience Required
