Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend

Hourly Rate: $60-$65/hr (negotiable)

Work Details:

  • Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
  • Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week.
  • Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
  • Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages.

Job Responsibilities

Our client located just 30 miles North of Seattle, WA is currently looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to work within their community health clinic.

Providers should have experience in Family Practice and/or Community Health settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus. OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management. They will consider providers for a minimum of 3 days/week if they are local and do not require housing. They maybe caring for same day walk in patients.
EMR: EPIC
Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.

Qualifications

Board Certification: Required
License Required: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates
DEA: Active WA DEA required

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Saturday hours optional for OT rate.

Skills

Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.
