Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
Location: Woodbridge, VA
Practice Name: Potomac Internal Medicine
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (3 days per week)
About Us:
Potomac Internal Medicine is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to our adult patients. Our practice offers a full spectrum of adult primary care services, including Women's Health services, and ancillary testing such as sleep studies, echo testing, allergy testing, and aesthetic services.
Responsibilities:
As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Potomac Internal Medicine, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive adult primary care, including Women's Health services
- Conducting new patient assessments and managing sick visits
- Performing and interpreting ancillary tests (sleep studies, echo testing, allergy testing, aesthetic services)
- Collaborating with medical assistants and other support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Seeing patients aged 18 and older
Qualifications:
- Board certified in Family Medicine or Adult Gerontology
- Must have 1-2 years post graduate experience in a Primary Care setting
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
