Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care services to our patients. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our healthcare team, delivering comprehensive care while fostering a positive and supportive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to evaluate patients' health status.
  2. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and interventions for acute and chronic health conditions, in collaboration with the supervising physician and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic illnesses to empower patients to take an active role in their healthcare.
  4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures as appropriate within the scope of practice and in accordance with state regulations.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  8. Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited program.
  2. Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas.
  3. Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice or Adult/Geriatric Care preferred.
  4. Clinical experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner.
  5. Strong clinical skills and proficiency in primary care services.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and promoting wellness.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
