Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. Any valid, unrestricted US State/Territory license will be acceptable for this position. This is a full-time contract position.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. Any valid, unrestricted US State/Territory license will be acceptable for this position. This is a full-time contract position.
Duties:
- Treat between 12 and 18 outpatients per day when working in the Family Medicine clinic
- Perform minor office surgery procedures
- Treat children through geriatric patients with scheduled appointments
- Review clinical records and adhere to records documentation procedures
- Perform basic annual women's health exams
Requirements:
- Valid and unrestricted NP license in any State or Territory
- US Citizen or US Resident with authorization to work, no visa sponsorship
- Willing to relocate to Shiprock, NM or surrounding area (closest major city is Farmington, NM)
- Experience in Family Practice clinical settings
- Possess BLS and ACLS certification
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
