Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. Responsibilities
In collaboration with the physician/medical director assumes clinical responsibility for tasks performed within Nurse Practitioners scope of practice. Including: taking patients history performing physical examinations ordering appropriate diagnostic tests establishing diagnosis and provide care and management for common illnesses and disease prevention in the pediatric and adult patient. The NP may assist in the admission transfer or discharge from Health Care System. Makes appropriate referrals to specialists and community agencies. Participates in quality assurance and quality improvement program. Works within multidisciplinary team to develop plan for the patient and their family.
- Provides assessment and follows established medical standards, procedures and practices to develop a treatment plan for the patient.
- Provides preventative health care services to long term patients; orders appropriate medications and treatments.
- Orders appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic services.
- Evaluates outcomes of direct patient care and consults with other specialists as required.
- Acts as consultant for various patient referrals.
- Provides referral to appropriate community agencies for support, services, and information.
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
- Provides education to patients, families, community, and colleagues using various teaching strategies.
- Utilizes special educational methods that are age appropriate.

Qualifications
MINIMUM
Master's Degree in nursing. Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners.
Three years clinical experience in healthcare.
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
Registered in AZ as Nurse Practitioner. Hold and maintain national certification in NP area, under AZ regulations.

Pay Range
$44.73 - $75.14 /hour
