Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)

The Inspire Center for Digestive Health is the center of choice for the break-thru, revolutionary therapy treatment: NeurAxis IB-Stim. This new, FDA-cleared device is a non-evasive treatment option for FAP/IBS, hailed by the medical community as one of the most transformative, impactful treatment options available to pediatric patients suffering from debilitating pain and discomfort associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). We are on a mission to have this non-invasive treatment option available to patients whose lives are severely limited by digestive challenges. You can practice at the top of your license in this life-changing and fulfilling role. In this role, you will be trained and certified as a provider of NeurAxis IB-Stim. Soon to expand to a care model inclusive of ages 11 through 18, your expertise will help a wider age range, benefiting more patients and improving overall continuity of care. Duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

-Work autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of clinicians to diagnose and manage healthcare problems and symptoms of children.
-Provide diagnosis and treatment recommendations to patients and families as a certified and trained treating clinician of NeurAxis IB-Stim.
-Develop and/or modify treatment plans for comprehensive care and ensure that each child receives the best possible experience and outcome.

Desirable Experience:
Previous experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with emphasis in Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, Family, Outpatient

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications for Advanced Practice Nurses:
Completion of an advanced nursing degree from an accredited school/college of nursing
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Current Advanced Practice Nurse license in the State of MA 
Once licensed, apply for a mid-level practitioner-controlled license and DEA number.
OR
Licenses and Certifications for Physician Assistant:
Current Physician Assistant license/registration in the State of MA or eligibility to receive by start date.
Certification from the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) by start date.
Once licensed, apply for a mid-level practitioner-controlled license and DEA number.
