Specialty: Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice
Start Date: July, 2024
Contract Length: Minimum of 3 months
Shift Details: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Schedule:
• Clinic Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Friday and Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Provider must work one late night per week and one Saturday per month (40 hours per week)
Work Details:
• Support Staff: Yes
• Coverage Needed per Month: Full-time
• Patients per Day: 16-20 (approximately 2 per hour)
• Patient Population/Age: 0-100 years (must see all ages)
• Department Description: Rural family practice clinic primarily serving Medicare and Medicaid patients, as well as community college students
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): eClinicalWorks
• Special Procedures:
o Laceration repairs
o Nexplanon insertions
o Incision and Drainage (IND) of abscesses
• Skills Required: Must provide documentation of performing special procedures
Practice Setting:
• Location: Clinic
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required
• License: CO state license required
• DEA: Required
• Certifications:
o Basic Life Support (BLS) (can be obtained onsite if not already certified)
o Must be enrolled in Medicare/Medicaid
Credentialing Timeframe:
• Duration: 4-6 weeks
