Job Description

A Mountain Home, Idaho based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join the outpatient primary care department at a local hospital. An ideal candidate should practice excellent, evidence-based patient care, and should be comfortable treating all ages. Applicants should have 1 year of experience to apply.

Required Qualifications

  • ID NP license
  • DEA certificate before start date
  • CPR certification
  • Board certified in field
  • 1+ year of experience

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages in emergency department
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures with prioritizing preventative care
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
